Can someone please check if my Mapping is correct for importing the Location ?

1.

Column 1: Location Code        => G3 Location  (is pre-filled when I import; not sure if this is correct)

Column3: Country                            => Parent

Column1: Location code                 => Code

2.

Items uniquely identified by:

Code only ???

    I have the mapping in this order and I did code only. Hope this helps.

    • Column 2: Location Name
    • Column 3: Country
    • Column 1: Location code

    thank you so much, it worked!

    Was this info given in the training content and I simply missed it? Or was it something you had to figure out for yourself?

    I had this same problem. The activity doesn't give instructions specifically for this -- just says the following:

    • Select the G3 Location list under General Lists in Model Settings.
    • On the G3 Location list screen, click Import.
    • Remember to verify the File Options and Mapping before running the import.

    So, I somehow messed this up and am getting codes instead of names. Am stuck here! Any suggestions for troubleshooting this?

    I did Column 1: -> G3 location, Column 3 -> Parent, Column 2-> Code and am getting an 'Invalid Name" error.

    Hi! Thanks for checking!

    I'm still stuck here.

    I tried to run the import again using:

    Location name -> G3
    Country -> Parent
    Location Code -> Code

    and received the following error

    • Invalid name
    • Invalid parent

    I went back in the lessons and looked at the steps for fixing an invalid parent code but am still confused! I'm not really sure what went wrong here.

    Figured it out! I was using the country codes in G2 instead of country name so it was throwing everything else off!

    Actually -- this has now turned into a bigger mess.

    When I ran the import again after fixing G2, I got one error "invalid name" but only for New York. I was trying to figure out what went wrong there and couldn't find any issue with why that was happening.

    I removed the file and tried to run it again and now am getting an error "Key for this row maps to more than one list member" and that's for each city, so 41 errors. I really don't know where to go from here.

    I don't know what's going on. I'm currently stuck on the PRODUCT mapping and haven't been able to figure it out. The training gave 1 example of how to map which is not helpful because it's not the same structure for each hierarchy... I hope we're able to figure it out on Tuesday's call.

    Same here. I was able to fix 4.6.5 by deleting my model and starting over again, but the next ones have me completely stuck/I made mistakes and may have to try it all over again!
