Scope for duplication of users

Not sure if this is the best forum to file potential bugs - pl point me in the right direction as needed

When adding process owners using Adminstration > Access Control > Assignments, if the same individual has slight variations  in their name, then it is showing up as dupes

For example I have

john.smith@x.com in one model

John.smith@x.com in another model

Under dminstration > Access Control > Assignments, it shows up as 2 separate rows. I would expect one of two things

1. Add a column called Models that shows where the entry is sourced so that an admin can denormalize to avoid duplication. In this case, the role has a model context which breaks things since users should have the same role across models as they interact w/ processes.

2. Alternatively, and more desirably, you automatically normalize the email, name (capitalize first letter of first and last name, small case for every other letter) and show one entry to which the role can be uniformly applied across all workspaces.

Thx. Can I create a ticket with usual support (ie are they trained for EA issues as well) or is there a separate support path for EA features?

I am also adding a screenshot of the issue I am facing:

    • attachment #1 (searched by first name) - yields 2 records with the same email.
    • attachment #2: I can then individually toggle one of them to be Standard vs Process Owner. This basically makes things a bit inconsistent in terms of the true role of the individual.
