It's been a busy ~45 days and huge props to @YuliaT for helping make this happen in such  a short amount of time. We've launched some of our biggest styling changes in 18 months, from saying goodbye to our love/hate relationship with pink, to launching major updates to our message feeds. See below for the full list!

 

  • Community Restyling

    • Goodbye pink, hello blue - We have restyled Community to bring it more into line with the current branding. As the weeks and months go on, we’ll continue to be making enhancements to both new and previous components.

      • Visit Community and explore! It's a lot easier than reading a list.

    • New Community Skin created - Rebuilt over two dozen page quilts within Khoros to bring further alignment to the various sections of Community

    • Small improvements with margins, padding, and tech debt

    • Label component facelift

    • Grey backgrounds within components removed

    • Bookmark and Subscribe options are now standard throughout Community

  • Updated sections

    • Refreshed homepage design, highlighting different content throughout community

    • Updated Platform, Programs, and Academy sections

      • Improved layouts and navigation

      • Highlighting content from child sections

  • Message Feeds 2.0

    • Blogs, TKBs, and Idea pages are noW displaying content utilizing our new message feed capability

    • Pages that previously took extended amounts of time to load have been tremendously improved/optimized. We are now using these improved feeds in all major areas of Community

      • We’ll continue to roll these out to all areas of Community over the coming weeks

    • Improved Label filtering and capabilities

    • Improved parameters, customization, and style alignment

  • Utility Nav

    • Employee/Partner links added. Will show if you are in the correct groups.

    • Japan Community will show up if end user has selected Japanese as their preferred language.

    • Japan Community link added to footer.

  • GNAV and Navigational changes

    • GNAV is now live in Community

    • We’ve made some navigational changes within Community including changes in Platform, Programs, and Academy

  • Community Accounts

    • Password policy has been updated to meet/exceed industry standards

    • Okta Preview:Khoros Stage have been reconfigured for SSO

    • Khoros SAML assertion testing completed successfully

    • Partner whitelist updated

    • Custom badge attributes setup within OKTA preview/production

    • Resolved bug w/ Employee Community Account passwords becoming unsynced from Org2Org instance.

    • HP setup with SSO within Community

  • Search Keyword notifications enabled

  • Misc things & Bug fixes & Everything else

    • Kudos button has returned to the Best Practices section

    • H1/H2 tag improvements / where they are utilized

    • Bevy script error investigation (Issue related to Dotcom script/vendor)

    • Customer pre-release testing group migration

    • Shared.Author component update causing weird footer behavior

    • Remove legacy Google tag manager from Community (It’s still active within Adobe’s tag manager instead)

    • Misc updates to CS section

    • Resolved issue with shared.author component breaking the footer

    • Tons of behind the scenes work with cleaning up our node structure, archived nodes, and various default settings to ensure a smoother process for our team, and extended Community administrators

  • Probably a few other awesome things, but Stan accidently deleted this entire thing when writing it on Friday, and thus rewrote it this morning. I swear the original version was 100x more witty and awesome.
