Book of Business Dashboard - Guide

As of August 2021, we have launched a Book of Business Dashboard for the field to use during the BoB Review sessions. Below is a walk through of the dashboard.

Dashboard Name: Book of Business 

Step 1: Flag Accounts to cover in monthly BoB reviews

  • CSDs to determine which six accounts to cover each month.
  • Accounts can be flagged with the "Date Presented" column. (Coming Soon!)

Step 2: Search for the desired account to review

  • 1: Use "search" icon on the top right of the accounts table..
  • 2: Use the top right selector, "Total Anaplan" selector to see all accounts in a desired POD.

Step 3: Validate all information has accurately pulled in to each section

  • Account Data: Model automatically populates:
    • ARR, Expand $$, Renewal Date, Risk for Renewal, # In Flight Use Cases, # Live Use Cases, $$ Utilization %, License Edition, Adoption Score, Adoption Target
    • BP, CSD, Renewal Manager, Implementation Partner
    • Manual Entry: Profession Services Team

  • Expand Summary: Model auto populates

Step 4: Add Success Landscape Information

  • This section requires manual entry section and should be tailored around providing information that will be helpful in faciliating discussion around 1-3 topics with the team.
  • Automatic Data Sections:
    • Key Actions for Adoption: Pulls from "Customer Adoption Score - Target Setting"
    • Key Actions for Renewal: Pulls from SFDC Renewal Notes (Usually entered by RMs)
  • Manual Entry Sessions:
    • Customer Strategic Objectives
    • Value Realization
    • Customer People Map
    • Key Actions for Adoption
    • Key actions for Expand
    • Barriers to Success
    • Other Relevant Information
    • Emerging Trends
    • Peer Feedback

Step 5: Monthly Snapshot taken (Last business day of the month)

  • Customer Operations will snapshot this dashboard at the end of each month to capture notes, action items. 
  • This will be used to summarized monthly and quarterly BoB reporting as well.
