Anaplan is excited to announce the release of the glass bottle production demo app! This demo application follows a production planner, in charge of the main production plan, for a company producing glass bottles. The target audiences for this application are industrial companies, with complex processes: flows, campaigns, sequencing, recipes, etc. Target roles for this solution are Production planners, Supply planners, S&OP/MPS managers, and Heads of Supply.

 

The application takes a look at the demand plan and allows users to create of constraints like sequencing, recipes, and capacity. It then walks users through the creation of a production plan that optimizes throughput, raw material consumption, production costs, and inventory costs while considering constraints. This demo app allows you to create multiple scenarios and compare KPIs such as margin, fulfillment, and production, labor, and inventory costs, to come up with the best possible plan.
