Issue

Users are receiving the error message "Something went wrong, try again" when attempting to login from a page which has been open for a long time (1+ hours). This has been raised as a bug but is listed as working as designed. Some customers may attempt to change their password because of this error.

If a login attempt is made on a page left open for a significant period of time some users may be directed to https://iam.anaplan.com/login/callback where they receive an "Oops!, something went wrong" message after trying to sign in from a bookmarked page. In the Technical Details on this page, it has the following information:

access_denied: Password login via OIDC-conformant clients with externally-hosted login pages is unsupported. Alternatively, login could have been initiated from the wrong place (e.g., a bookmark).

Workaround

Simply refresh the page and enter your login details to login as expected.
