Level 2 3.3.12 Select Month Chart Filter disappearing

I'm trying to create the UX page but am running into problems. I was able to add the grid to allow the end user to select the months they wish to see. However when a month is unchecked and the page refreshed that month disappears from the chart and the only way to get it back is to go check it in he module.
