Extensibility

  • Anaplan Connect 4.0: This enhanced version of Anaplan Connect includes support for Anaplan OAuth APIs, and enables users to authenticate in their Anaplan Connect scripts without using User ID, password or CA certifications. Some benefits of using OAuth for authentication are:
    • Centrally managed Anaplan OAuth credentials. Credentials can be de-activated from Anaplan Admin UI if needed
    • No need to save user credentials (user id or password) in integration scripts
    • No need to procure and setup CA certifications in integration scripts
    • User's can continue to be SSO enable in an Anaplan model while using OAuth for authentication

    • Download Failure Log: Download failure logs for select Cloudworks integration failures.

  • Multivariate linear regression (MVLR) and feature importance for PlanIQ: Fast, advanced statistical forecasting with feature importance, providing insights on how and which drivers most impact forecast results.​

  • Ensembling and feature importance for PlanIQ: Automatically use the best forecast algorithm for each forecasted entity (e.g. SKU, cost center, location) to deliver more accurate forecasts with ease. 

  • Feature importance (for MVLR and ensembling): Drive confidence in forecast results by automatically seeing the relative impact each driver has on the forecast results.

  • Duplicate data collections for PlanIQ: simplify PlanIQ data setup by allowing the users to easily create and adjust copies of data collections.

Modeling

  • Tab split view: View two model objects side-by-side to see real-time comparisons and updates whilst interacting with your model.

  • View modules used on UX Pages: Identify and navigate to modules being used on UX Pages from within the modeling experience for improved dependency and relationship mapping.

User Experience

  • Dynamic text card support on Board and Worksheets: The dynamic text card allowing you to add static text alongside data from the model including rich text formatting capabilities is being added to Boards and Worksheets. This Card is available on the report page today and based on popular demand we are now adding support to the other page types in the UX.
