Dashboards: Input data + screen hop

Hi all,
With the start of our strategic planning phase combined with collecting monthly data for the budget '18, our dashboard are much wider than during a more frequent monhtly EOY forecast. I noticed when filling in data, when scrolled to the right-hand side, my internet screen will hop back totally to the left. This event is quite annoying, especially when I have to fill in multiple line-items for several products. Can this be resolved, or is there a straight-forward solution?
Kind regards,
Mickel

Currently, to avoid hopping back, it can be achieved by changing the horizontal width from -1 back to a percentage. However this creates more scroll bars which seems confusing for older users and might cause data cells to be ommitted.
