Assign Hidden Attribute to line items

Would be great if there is a way to give certain line items an "hidden" attribute. These line items will always be hidden to the user and will mainly be drivers to be used within formulas. Hiding the line item manually (using the format selection option) doesnt stay hidden when pivoting back to a nested dimension view in the module. The user is forced to manually select the line item in all its occurences and hide. Could get cumbersome with a large nested dimension module.
