Enhacement request! It would be AMAZING if within the Settings of a Model, one could dictate the default formatting for Line Items that are added to modules. For example, there is a Anaplan-wide default setting for all line items to be defaulted to:

Number Format: Minimum Significant Digits = 4, Thousand Separator = Comma, Negative Numbers = Minus Sign, Zero Format = Zero, Units = None

Often times when creating a new model for a customer, they will say something like, "We always want to see 2 decimals and have Zero's show up as a "-".

Imagine if a model builder could just adjust the Default Line Item settings, similar to how they would adjust the Time Settings that get applied throughout the model. Then only the line items that NEED to have their formats changed would need to get changed.

I understand that there could be huge ramifications if the default format of line items were to get changed mid-build. However, couldn't there be functionality to enter the default settings of a New Model upon creation at the same point where they are asked to Name the new model, or right after, and then have those settings lock (cannot change after model is actually created). Seems like a relatively "simple" enhancement that would save the builer-community an enormous amount of time. Can we PLEASE make this happen? 🙂
