Ability to Import data with no time period into a module with a time period

At the moment it is possible to import data that has no time period from a spreadsheet into a module with time periods, but only one period can be selected. Please can the option be added to allow users to select multiple time periods. 

I was trying to populate a customer terms module with initial data, and in the end had to import it using a fixed time period then copy and paste data from one month into other months.
