Could we have functionality to hide views from the Contents area?

Scenario:

The modeller creates a view for each grid/chart published to a dashboard. It is useful to be able to save these view for future changes.

But these views are then visible in Contents under each module name. This is good for the modeller/architect but causes clutter for business admins or power users or similar.
Could they be hidden by an authorisation method or by assigning functional areas at the view level or similar?

This could be extended to record data such as dashboard name published to, date published and similar.
