The purpose of model concurrency testing is to simulate the expected real world concurrent user interaction with an Anaplan model during typical daily usage and peak periods, such as quarter end.

There are two requirements documents that need to be completed for Concurrency Testing:

1. High Level Requirements (completed early in the project, during planning/design phase)

  • This captures the model concurrency team with the initial information that is required to understand the concurrency requirements (high-level) and milestones to schedule the required model concurrency testing.

2. Model Interaction Specification (completed during model build phase)

  • This captures the detailed information that describes how each type of user will interact with the model as part of their regular duties (User Journeys) and defines the required concurrency scenarios to simulate expected concurrent usage of the model.

You can find full details of the model concurrency process  here and the Concurrency Packages here.
