I have worked with 2 clients that would like to see the time scale ordered differently automatically in the model. They look at their data with the months first, then the quarters, then the year. So they would like to be able to have a setting where you can select how you would like to look at time throughout the model so they don't have to click on the columns they wish to see in the order that they wish to see them. Example: Jan 15, Feb 15, Mar 15, Apr 15, May 15, June 15, July 15, August 15, Sept 15, Oct 15, Nov 15, Dec 15, Q1 15, Q2 15, Q3 15, Q4 15, FY15, Jan 16, Feb 16, Mar 16...........Q1 16, Q2 16, Q3 16, Q4 16, FY16. I have not been able to think of a way to do this with a formula or filter. Has anyone else??
