Mark Versions as Production Data

It would be great if you could choose whether the Versions list is treated as production data or not.

 

In many models the individual versions are never referred to by name, with cross-version comparisons performed using PREVIOUSVERSION and so on. The superusers then add, delete & reorder versions on an ad-hoc basis. Switching the model into deployed mode makes this impossible - it needs to be done in the development model and then deployed, along 

 

It would be great if there was a setting that controlled whether the Versions list is structural or production data. If you marked it as production data then obviously the Roles -> Modules settings would all be production data too.
