Impact of Access change on a previously created Task

When a task was created, I had access to Global Data. Once task was assigned, I set myself to have a valid role (not No Access) that had no data access. When I go into the model, I see no data in any of the grids (as expected).

 

However, when I go into the task, I see Global data as well as the dashboard which is not available to me from the model. Is this intended behavior? Do you look for access level every time someone launches a task?
