Running Weekly SFDC Entity and Learning Center Completion Reports for OAv2 Upload

Updated weekly on Fridays - pulls info into other systems on Mondays

  • Salesforce info: This report sets up entities (all folks that have done training should roll up) - match email domains from companies to allow roll ups.

  • Go to the SFDC Reports tab and click select the "Customer Parter list for Enablement" -it is misspelled. Run report to update and then export details into csv file.

Learning Center: Access My Reports tab

  • Select the "Completion Reports"
  • From the bottom right, View Saved searches: Completed Records All Time (make mental note of how many pages of records there are  - should have increased from last week's report)
  • Export csv (takes a while to download)

Go into Official Anaplanners v2 model from the Anaplan Operations workspace

  1. Open Contents panel: Staging dashboard
  2. Update the date with today’s date
  3. Import Entities (Salesforce report) - select and Run/Close/Refresh Dashboard
  4. Import People and Records (Learning Center report - twice same file for both locations)
  5. First L3 People; Countries, then L4 Records (same file for both locations) - RUN
  6. Don't worry about the fails, Refresh Dashboard again
  7. Pulls out email domains it doesn't know how to tie to a company
  8. Copy and search in SF to see if we can find out the domain
  9. Enter "Unknown in SFDC" if domain is not found
  10. List as Prospect (Type Prospect/Partner in Sf Type:)
  11. Once all email domains are updated, click the Refresh Entitiy button
