Filter not synced during ALM sync

A workaround is provided until the issue is officially fixed.

During an ALM sync, a filter applied in the source model is not synced to the target model.

No error is given on the sync and it passes successfully.

The issue occurs if these changes are made in the same sync:

  • Change the applies to of a module with a filter set up against that applies to
  • The applies to is changed from one subset to another
  • Set up the same filter again on the new applies to and save the view

To work around the issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Remove the filter in the source model, save the view
  2. Create a revision tag and sync
  3. Add the filter back in, save the view
  4. Create a revision tag and sync
