Pivot is incorrect in saved view or dashboard after ALM sync

A workaround is provided until the issue is officially fixed.

After an ALM sync, a saved view or module published to a dashboard is pivoted differently in the source and target models.

No error is given on the sync and it passes successfully.

The issue occurs if these changes are made in the same sync:

  • Add a list subset to the applies to of a module
  • In either a saved view or module published to a dashboard, pivot the view so that the subset is used in nested dimensions
  • Overwrtie the saved view or save and exit the dashboard editor

To work around the issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Pivot the subset as it is in the target model and save the view or dashboard
  2. Create a revision tag and sync
  3. Pivot the subset to the correct position and save the view or dashboard
  4. Create a revision tag and sync
