Rep Quota Module: Formula for Region

I'm not sure how to find the parent information through multipule levels of heirarchies. I know for other Modules looking for the Parent Region, the formula was something like "PARENT(ITEM('Reps L4')". Can someone provide the correct formula and then explain? Thanks!
