I'm working on the revenue section of the FP&A case study and am having some issues tying what's in the "Input Units" tab to the "RevenueCOS" tab. The total revenue by month in the "Input Units" tab ($760k) is far lower than the hardcoded figures in the "RevenueCOS" tab ($3.5M-$4.5M), but the figures in the RevenueCOS tab seem correct give the expense totals.
The issue is that if I want to use the actual and budgeted units to calculate the revenue in my model, I get figures which are close to what's in the Input Units tab and again don't seem to make sense given that they are far lower than even the monthly salary expenses. Am I missing something here? Are the unit prices incorrect? Thanks!
