Summary of key points from the meeting:

  • The Anaplan sales team selling to SFDC (as a customer) has made progress grooming new use cases and interest with the SFDC HR and Customer Success opertions teams. A successful EBC was held yesterday with 8 members from the global customer success teams, with followup being pursued within the SFDC call center/customer care groups. Landing this SFDC customer care/success group will help accelerate the Anaplan + Service Cloud partner opportunity. Anne Cooper had terrific suggestions for helping the selling and partnering efforts. 
  • Continued momentum working with the Einstein Analytics PM, Sales, and Business Devt teams to be a strategic partner. Chris will start to develop the business case and commercial aspects of this Einstein Analytics partnership which will be shared back with this team. 
  • One of the major synergies from having Tech Partners reporting into the Global Alliance group  is getting every consulting partner to add an Anaplan SPM practice within their SFDC practices. The Global Alliance team and Chris will be tracking the pitching, enablement, and ultimately the SPM pipeline growth per consutling partner in "Partner Central". This tracking will take months to get in place officially but Chris will try bringing progress views into future team meetings. 
  • One big setback has been the delays (6 weeks delayed) submitting our tab integration managed package into the AppExchange security review process. There is very little knowledge about how to spin up test and demo SFDC orgs within Anaplan, including within our IT group, as well as with Unico. Chris has added an Anaplan Environment Hub to a Developer Edition org as a first step to creating the right org and logins for submitting into the security review process. This Environment Hub will enable Jon Mavitz and Greg Miller to create standard demo orgs for the tab integration or Einstein Analytics, or industry demos, which are vital for scaling the partnership.
