Salesforce Anaplan Integration using API

Has anyone worked with integration between Salesforce and Anaplan without the use of any middleware or Hyperconnect? Can we do it using REST API?

I looked at some of the materials on the community but could not get the whole picture. If anyone worked on it before and has any useful documentation, that would be great.

    Can you please share any documentation on calling the API to load data into Anaplan or any useful links that I can refer to?

    Yup. I am looking for any information on the Straight API calls. I looked at the documentation in Anapedia but I am looking for any extra details on it.
