Baseline Tests
This phase is for you to import your models to your PTE workspace(s) and run all of your business critical processes, e.g. imports, exports, ALM, etc, to make sure everything is set up correctly before the release candidate is made available to you. It also provides you with baseline data metrics, i.e. data updating correctly, performance comparison, etc.
This helps us ensure that, should you encounter any problems when testing the release candidate, these were not caused by model configuration or non-software related issues.

Release Candidate Testing
This phase is for you to test the release candidate. You should re-run all the business critical processes you ran in the baseline testing phase to ensure they still work as expected.
