HAVE YOU WONDERED, “HOW IS MY CUSTOMER ADOPTING THE UX?”

Wonder no more! The Customer Operations team, in partnership with AoA, CX, and Product, have listened to your feedback and have developed two new dashboards – in UX! – to monitor UX adoption at both a Customer and Pod level. These dashboards are designed to quickly give you an overall understanding of your customer’s UX journey.

We are excited to see UX adoption grow as you work with our customers. Please leverage all the information now available for you to explore.

1. Meet your new UX insights page – UX Adoption Insights

This new dashboard has many new metrics to help evaluate your Customer’s adoption,  including but not limited to:

  • Summary KPIs:
    • App Pages Built: Total number of app pages (i.e. not My Pages) that have been built in our customer workspaces
    • Deployed UX Use Cases (BP): Total number of customer use cases currently live in the UX (based on Gainsight Account Use Case tracking from our Business Partners)
    • Avg. Active Usage: Average of "Usage % (3 mo)" across all customers showing some UX Usage
      • Note: "Usage % (3 mo)" is the 'Number of customer's users interacting with a UX page', divided by the 'Total number of customer's users logging into Anaplan' within the last rolling 3 months - i.e. the ratio of customer's active users in the last 3 months interacting with the UX
    • Weekly Web Users: Total number of Anaplan users interacting with the UX Web UI in the prior week
    • Weekly UX Users (Web or Mobile): Total number of Anaplan users interacting with the UX Web UI or Mobile interface in the prior week
  • Customer-Level Reporting:
    • Live / In-flight Use Cases: Count of the customer's current Anaplan use cases in each status
    • Weekly Usage Stats
      • Total Users: Number of users logging into Anaplan (across Classic or UX)
      • Web Users: Number of users interacting with UX via the Web (Desktop) UI
      • Mobile Users: Number of users interacting with UX via Mobile
      • UX Users: Number of distinct users interacting with UX across either Web or Mobile
      • UX Usage: 'Weekly UX Users' divided by 'Weekly Total Users' - i.e. ratio of customer's active users that are working with the UX
    • Apps Pages to Date: Total count of App Pages built in the customer's workspaces
    • Use Case Stats
      • Live UX Use Cases: Count of use cases where UX has been successfully deployed
      • In-Flight UX Use Cases: Count of use cases where UX is currently being deployed
      • Proposed UX Use Cases: Count of use cases where UX is targeted but implementation/migration has not yet started
    • UX Users (3 mo): Number of customer's users that have interacted with UX in the last rolling 3 months
    • UX Usage (3 mo): % of customer's users that have interacted with UX in the last rolling 3 months (in relation to total number of customer's users logging into Anaplan in that time)

  • Use Case-Level Reporting:
    • UX Status: Current UX deployment status of the use case (e.g., Live - Partial, Live - Full, Deployment in Progress, Proposed)
      • Partial suggests that although the customer has started using UX for the use case, not all Classic dashboards for that use case have been fully migrated/retired
    • UX Implementation Method: The method in which the customer deployed/migrated to UX (e.g., Customer self-serve, Partner, Professional Services)
    • UX Comments: Free form comments for BP to share more detail about the deployment
    • UX Deployment Date: (Expected or) Actual date when UX was deployed for the use case
    • UX Sentiment: The customer's sentiment (positive or negative) regarding the UX

2. Take it a step further – UX Adoption – Pod Summary

This is where you find higher level metrics at pod, region, and geo levels, including metrics not available above, such as:

  • Engaged Customers: Total number of customers who have 2 or more App Pages Built to Date (this is our proxy to determine whether a customer has started to engage with UX)
  • Deployed Customers (BP): Total number of customers who have one or more Use Case where UX Status is 'Live' based on BP data entry.
