Find out how Partners are adopting the UX!

We know how critical our partners are to driving UX adoption with our customers. They are demoing with prospects and customers, as well as leading most of our implementations. In order to accelerate our customer's adoption of the UX, we have to understand how well our partners are adopting the UX as well.

With that in mind, our Partner Programs and Partner Success teams have launched a Partner Adoption dashboard, available in the Partner Central model

You'll now be able to see how our different partners are trending with respect to count and % of their users engaging with the UX. Read on to learn how to access and navigate the page to get maximum insight from this data.

1. Access the Partner UX Adoption page

You can access the page by clicking the link above. Otherwise, from Anaplan's Home page, navigate to:

Apps > Partner Central > Partner Health Insights / Cross Partner New UX Adoption.

If you have any issues accessing this page, reach out via Slack at #partnerconnect or email partnerprogramrequests@anaplan.com.

2. Update Selectors to Focus on the Info You Need

Along the top right, you'll have several Context Selectors to use:

  • Partner Tiers: Select which partner tiers (or specific partner organization) you would like the dashboard to show
  • User Type: Select which type of user you would like to focus on. Values include:
    • Final Roster - All Anaplan users in the partner org
      • Note: We do not recommend focusing on this population, as these include partner leaders who will not likely be implementing/interacting with Anaplan often.
    • Level 1: Model Building - Users in the partner org who achieved Level 1 Model Building certification
    • Level 2: Model Building - Users in the partner org who achieved Level 2 Model Building certification
    • Level 3: Final Conclusion - Users in the partner org who achieved Level 3 Model Building certification
    • Certified Model Builder (new path) - Users in the partner org who achieved Certified Model Builder status (i.e. completed Level 1, Level 2, and The Anaplan Way certification)
      • We recommend focusing on these partner users, since they're the most likely to be continually deployed on Anaplan projects and influencing our customers' usage.
  • Month: Select the month for which you'd like usage data

3. Review the Data

Collective Partner Usage by Level: This grid shows the 'Usage %' by User Type for the month selected above in the Context Selectors. 'Usage %' is equal to the percentage of Partner's users logging into Anaplan who have interacted with at least one UX page.
In other words, its "# of Users Interacting with UX page" divided by "# of Users Logging into Anaplan."

Collective Partner Usage by Time: This grid shows the Usage % for each Partner over time. Ideally we want to see this trending positively.

Partner Entity Level Reporting: Two other grids show similar metrics by the partner entity level (e.g., Deloitte Australia vs. Deloitte Canada). By clicking into a specific partner org in the Collective grids, these will automatically filter to show the entities for that partner org only.

4. Dive Deeper into the Data

One powerful feature with the UX is the ability to further analyze data via My Pages. For example, if you'd like to know the Actual Count of users interacting with the UX instead of the Usage %, you can get to this information quickly.

  • From the "..." along the top right, select "Save personal copy"

  • Select the pencil icon to get to Board Designer mode

  • Select the gear icon to the left of 'Usage %,' select "Selector," then click "Show / Hide"

  • In the Designer panel, select "Population" and "Usage per Population" values. Then click the 'Apply' button, followed by 'Publish.'

  • Update the Context Selectors as needed to get to the information you want:
    • Population = Total number of partner users within each user type
    • Usage per Population = Total number of partner users interacting with the UX
    • Usage % = Usage per Population / Population
