Anaplan Excel Add-in 4.0 clashes with Oracle Smart View Add-in

This item has been identified as an outstanding known issue. A workaround is provided until the issue is officially fixed.

Issue

The Anaplan Excel Add-in 4.0 clashes with the Oracle Smart View Add-in and can cause Excel to crash. This is mainly when the Anaplan add-in is installed first, and then the Oracle Add-in.

 

Workaround

To workaround this issue:

  1. Uninstall all Anaplan and Smart View Add-ins
  2. Install the Smart View add-in first
  3. Then install the Anaplan Excel add-in V4.0

Installation in this order should allow both add-ins to run simultaneously.

    This issue has been resolved in the release of V4.1
